Crucible materials
- Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3).
- Beryllium Oxide (BeO).

- Pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN).
- Aluminium – cold-lip crucible designed to prevent material creep. A double-walled crucible allows re-melting after unintentional solidification of the source material.
- Pyrolytic graphite (PG).
- Pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN) coated pyrolytic graphite (PG).
- Gallium – PG-coated bottleneck design allows a lower deposition temperature.
