We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background in physics, engineering, or material science. The ideal candidate will have a PhD (or a minimum of a Master’s degree) and a passion for developing new UHV products for thin film deposition processes such as PVD, MBE, and PLD. This role involves technical writing of manuals and product datasheets, assisting the sales team, and working closely with the design and technical teams to oversea the product developments.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle for UHV systems and components.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including product manuals and specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate product information and support materials.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop new product offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate product launches and marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics, Engineering, Material Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is the minimum requirement.
- Strong understanding of UHV systems and their applications.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in product management or development is a plus.
